Are you familiar with the wax plant or hoya carnosa flower? It’s a plant with waxy green leaves and pretty waxy flowers. My mother has a huge hoya plant at the apartment and it blooms into these beautiful flowers. This flower is native to Australia and Eastern Asia but it’s now popular in homes all over the world.
We got the plant from a woman who lived in the apartment before us and now the flower is over 20 years old! It blooms a few times a year and the flowers are really pretty and have a soft fragrance to them. The flowers grow in clusters and apparently these plants are great because they remove the toxins in the air indoors.
Every year before or on Easter, this plant has flowers which is wonderful because it beautifies the apartment!
I have a Hoya carnosa but a slightly darker pink. I am waiting for it to bloom. It is growing wild and at the moment it is just leaves.
Usually, it blooms around Easter time but who knows, it might depend on light conditions.
I was told it would bloom in Mark or April and I have taken good care of it so I hope to see the blooms soon.
Mine has finally bloomed and I did make a post about a few days ago.

It is very beautiful when it blooms. But I don’t like the scent. I had it years ago.
Oh, I don’t smell the scent only if I go very close to it.
