The Chinese believe in 3 dishes 1 soup with rice for a balance diet. The 3 dishes usually consist of 1 vegetable dish, 1 meat or egg dish and 1 fish dish. And then there will be a soup of any choice.
Well, I didn’t really have 3 dishes for dinner but we had 2 – boiled vegetable and steam fish. For soup, we have “leung tofu soup” – basically just some chicken stock with some simple fish/meatballs and tofu.
Mum prepared this, and I’m just the assistant “chef” that help mess up … LOL
