The meal featured is a Shrimp & BBQ Pork Egg Noodle Soup that I purchased from a restaurant called Pho Tam, which is located in Niles, Illinois. Prior to purchasing it, I had a craving for Chicken Pho, but went with this instead because it was something slightly different than Chicken Pho. And, the Yelper in me, as well as blogger wanted to share it with you all as part of the 365 Photos Challenge which I hope you enjoy. Expect to see more of these as the time progresses.

Looks delicious and never had this before.
Yes, it was very delicious and I am anticipating having it again
Who doesn’t love shrimp. I could actually go for some shrimp as I type this. Shrimp in my rice : )
When I make my grocery store visit this week, I will make sure to purchase some shrimp to add with my Roman noodles ; )
This is one of the only places in Niles that sells Pho. My fear is that many of the asian restaurants will shut down because they don’t do very well business wise.
It looks appetizing and delicious! Yeah, I love noodles too especially during the rainy season. But now, it’s summer in our place so I would go for cold foods and beverages.
It was very appetizing and delicious. Ah, I have never heard of this before. What kind of cold foods do you normally eat in the summer?
It looks so delicious!
And it was very delicious Ellie
It looks really tasty!
I’ve never heard of Pho … had to google it …
seems like its a Vietnamese word for soup …
Yes! Well, this is a pitch for you to give it a try
Pitch …? like …?
lol …
it’s probably hard to “show” pitch with texts
Well, you have been officially introduced to this type of food : )

Looks amazing, Niles is another place I’ve been many times!

I always introduced my kids to every kind of restaurant out there. We used to live in Greenwood IN. There was a good Thai place (we went often) but most of the ethnic food was Mexican. That is fine, we went, but the majority of other places didn’t make it.
Here around DC, Pho is king!!!!
Do you utilize Yelp? Currently I’m trying to seek out many restaraunts on the south side of Chicago to visit this summer. Bumped into one that caught my eye in Grand Crossing – Chicago called ‘Honey 1 BBQ’
I am a yelp reviewer, have been for many years! Korean BBQ is a personal favorite!
Well now, I will have to find you on Yelp because I am an avid user.
Docandersen – reviewing all over Maryland (and sometimes Chicago when we visit).
Sweet! I use Yelp similar to someone that utilizes Facebook 24/7
I didn’t used to, I started using it a lot more when we moved to Maryland.
I fell in love with it after realizing that it kept my writing skills fresh in-between college semester. I tie being fitness enthusiast and a foodie with my posts, adding humor.
