Prior to the start of my work shift, I stopped in to pick up Portillo’s Hot Dogs for lunch, and as like my initial visit to this particular location in Niles Illinois it did not disappoint. I swear I would eat at Portillo’s on a weekly basis if I had a location closer to my neighborhood, hehe.

you are a rotten person. I am now starving. Chicago Dogs are not found in the DC area. Luckily i have everything to make them at home and that is dinner Wednesday night. If i can wait that long.

There is a place in downtown DC, the original Ollie’s Trolley, that serves a legit Chicago dog! But they are very far from my customer.
Just looked Ollie’s up. Just terrible that they are downtown and rated overall a 3-star. Yikes!
they are not for people that don’t understand the concept. That is the reality of those fun downtown DC places. they are for those in the know!
