Colour for health

This was my takeaway salad sis prepared — crunchy lceberg lettuce, julienned carrots and cherry tomatoes, all raw, topped with a sprinkling of raisins and sunflower seeds! ย I love the flavour the seeds add to the salad.

Sis sometimes cuts the tomatoes in half but I prefer them whole like this and enjoy the ‘pop’ when you bite into them. Raisins add some sweetness and energy. I like salads plain like this without any dressing – no vinaigrette nor olive oil even. Colourful food besides being attractive, always increases your appetite too! ย And did you know the more colour, the healthier the food. Eat healthy always… Bon appetit!
