Now that Carmella has successfully cashed in her Money in the Bank briefcase and won, I’m curious to see how long of a title reign she will have as the World Wrestling Entertainment SmackDown Women’s Champion. I was off on my prediction on Carmella’s cash-in, but I sure came close. My prediction was that Carmella would cash-in her Money in the Bank contract at WrestleMania 34 against whoever is battling it out with Charlotte Flair for the WWE SmackDown Women’s Championship belt. Well, that cash-in happened just a few days after WrestleMania 34 on April 10 episode of WWE SmackDown after Charlotte suffered a beat down by newly added SmackDown superstars Billie Kay and Peyton Royce known as The IIconics. As of right now the SmackDown women’s roster is stacked with several top superstars such as Naomi, Becky Lynch, Charlotte Flair, Nikki Bella and now Asuka which was the most recent superstar added during the WWE Superstar Shake-up.
Kind of early to say this because Carmella just won the title, but with SmackDown being known as the land of opportunity I’m curious to see how long of a title reign “The Princess of Staten Island” will have, and who will be next to take her thrown once her reign ends. Not sure how many others would agree, but I kind of liked, and got humor out of watching Carmella run down to the ring attempting to cash-in her briefcase on Charlotte, but it had to end at some point.

With a roster stacked with so many quality talent waiting in line, will Carmella’s run with the title be short lived? At some point I would imagine that she will have to go toe-to-toe with Charlotte Flair once again, or maybe even Asuka in the near future.

And there are many that are accomplishing big things now in the world of professional wrestling.
