Becky Lynch earns rematch at Royal Rumble against Asuka

I’m very excited to see that Becky Lynch is getting her rematch at the Royal Rumble against Asuka for the Smackdown Women’s Championship. However, my only complaint is that why did she have to earn it in a triple threat match against Charlotte Flair, and Carmella? Why couldn’t it just have been Becky Lynch vs Charlotte Flair, which makes a lot more sense instead of adding Carmella to the mix.

I do love Carmella, but what did she do to earn a spot in this triple threat match? It seems to me that all Carmella was in this triple threat match was the third wheel. And with it being a triple threat match instead of a one-on-one match it just kills the prestige of winning because anyone can win a triple threat match, it is just whomever gets the pin first.

With it being WrestleMania 35 season and so much at stake, plus “change” in the WWE, would not you think, it would have been better as a one-on-one match up instead of a triple threat? I guess a one-on-one match up is giving too much to the audience of a Smackdown Live event. I would imagine that a one-on-one match is much deserving for a paper view audience from their standpoint.

With Becky Lynch going on to the Royal Rumble for her Smackdown Women’s Championship rematch against Asuka, I’m curious to see where this puts Charlotte Flair. She is one of the faces of the business and I’m sure she will have a spot going into WrestleMania 35, which I would guess that she would face off against Becky Lynch, if Becky does not face Ronda Rousey. Or they could also do another triple threat match at WrestleMania 35, which would give Becky Lynch a chance at facing off against both Charlotte Flair and Ronda Rousey in one match.
