Living forever would be rather tiresome. All those centuries going by and you have to exist through them and keep working and going day by day. Personally, I think that knowing eventually you will exist in another sphere and you’ll get together with those you have loved and lost makes it more exciting. Something to look forward to beyond just living. After my soul mate died I was allowed too trips over that world beyond threshold and I know I was there. When it became obvious that my loved one would not mind taking me with him right away and I was a willing traveler I could not longer visit because my time on earth was not yet done. So he waits for me. I have been visited and have received positive signs. In our years together we had a stillborn daughter. One of the times he came to me I heard a little child calling for her father. Instinctively I do not know how I just knew it was our lost daughter. If she could not have an earthly life she could have an another worldly life and was with her father. I told her to wait that he was with me for a bit and would return to her soonest. It amazes me to think it but my whole family has been able to contact and been able to communicate and this helps me greatly in my journey now through life alone.
I just knew there was something very special about you, Sandra. Why can so many not accept the one most fundamental thing, If you believe it, then it is! The Offer of Life or Death

15 See, I set before you today life and prosperity, death and destruction. 16 For I command you today to love the Lord your God, to walk in obedience to him, and to keep his commands, decrees, and laws; then you will live and increase, and the Lord your God will bless you in the land you are entering to possess.
17 But if your heart turns away and you are not obedient, and if you are drawn away to bow down to other gods and worship them, 18 I declare to you this day that you will certainly be destroyed. You will not live long in the land you are crossing the Jordan to enter and possess.
19 This day I call the heavens and the earth as witnesses against you that I have set before you life and death, blessings and curses. Now choose life, so that you and your children may live 20 and that you may love the Lord your God, listen to his voice, and hold fast to him. For the Lord is your life, and he will give you many years in the land he swore to give to your fathers, Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob.
I do not want to live on this earth forever. I have lost loved ones I have to catch up with somewhere out there!

You are correct, Carol, he will not be as he once was, because he has cast aside the fallible and corruptible body for an immortal body, free from all pain, the same state you will enter into, just keep manfully carrying your huge cross as you have been, publically, for his sake, by having no regrets about his sharing your life and you being his loving MOM for a very brief moment in time.
