Ragnarök in Norse mythology is a sequence of future events, which includes a great huge battle, The prophetic events are predicted to finally ends in the dying of several major figures which includes the gods Thor, Odin, Freyr, Týr, Loki, and Heimdallr, which culminates in the occurrence of several natural disasters, and then the world is finally submerged in water.
As the world resurfaces anew and fertile, the returning gods who survived, will meet up and two surviving humans repopulate the earth. In Norse mythology, Ragnarök is an important event, Germanic studies have, throughout history, questioned the accuracy of the Norse legend.
