I’ve shared music from two acapella groups; Home Free and Pentatonix. Here is another acapella ‘group’ that is a little different. It is different because this is a one-man group. Peter Hollens ends up singing 6 different parts in the song and he does a really good job of it. The backdrop of the church serves a double function. The first is that a church is appropriate for the song. The second is that the acoustics are wonderful. I can’t help but wonder how many churches he looked at before he found one that has this level of sound.
This one is great as well. I love music.
I do, too. I love how Peter does this because it is so much different than most groups. Wait until I share one that he did, with a woman helping him, of the Abba hits. (It’s a medley.)
Acapella is smashing ………Thank you for sharing
I agree. Acapella is also extremely difficult to perform properly. I admire anyone who can do it well.
This is my absolute favorite Christmas song.
I love it too. It has a powerful message and it is a way of thinking of it that most people never have.
