1. They all have their advantages, I just like being out away from the hustle bustle of a city.

   • That’s me too, Carol. I was raised in the city but couldn’t imagine living there now. It’s fun to visit a couple of times a year but that’s it ☺

     I love living out in the bush
     avoiding that dire urban crush
     Many’s the advantage
     of a rustic vantage
     though in winter the ground turns to mush

     I could do with four hours more sleep
     But I’ve already done all the sheep
     I may start on the cows
     (or maybe the sows)
     but the muck here’s already so deep!

     It was rumoured the one I called Granny
     was in fact my sweet third-cousin Annie
     So I had to find out
     (for avoidance of doubt)
     by exploring each nook and each cranny

     The Guinness is perfect in Dublin
     Though the vodka’s much cheaper in Lublin
     but as for white wine
     that is truly divine
     head for Champagne where it is a-bubbling

     In this life there’s an unwritten rule
     You must never lie down with a mule
     for equine expectations
     of carnal relations
     would leave your rear end in a ruin
