I would like to share my Youtube video uploaded 3 years ago, where I sang my own rendition of The Fray’s You Found Me.
Singing has been part of my pastimes before. I love singing at karaoke, especially that I’m a Filipino. It’s more than a mere fact that Filipinos really love singing. During gathering occasions like friends-get-together, weekend hang-outs, etc., events won’t be complete without video singing.
My voice is not that good, not exactly the perfect quality for an artist, but I would just like to inspire others with my song. I know after you watched this song, I maybe lambasted, or whatever, I just want to share my not-so-good-talent to let people know that we can be on the other edge of passion that we would like if we just really want to persevere and work for it.
I dedicate this song to Virily family, since I have found the right blogging platform, so please support me guys. This song is all for us Virilyans.
So good luck and hope your ears won’t feel bad.
If you want to sing along with me, I got here lyrics too:
YOU FOUND ME
The Fray
I found God
On the corner of First and Amistad
Where the west
Was all but won
All alone
Smoking his last cigarette
I said, “Where you been?”
He said, “Ask anything.”
[Verse 2]
Where were you
When everything was falling apart?
All my days
Were spent by the telephone
That never rang
And all I needed was a call
That never came
To the corner of First and Amistad
[Chorus:]
Lost and insecure
You found me, you found me
Lyin’ on the floor
Surrounded, surrounded
Why’d you have to wait?
Where were you? Where were you?
Just a little late
You found me, you found me
[Verse 3]
In the end
Everyone ends up alone
Losing her
The only one who’s ever known
Who I am
Who I’m not, who I wanna be
No way to know
How long she will be next to me
[Chorus:]
Lost and insecure
You found me, you found me
Lyin’ on the floor
Surrounded, surrounded
Why’d you have to wait?
Where were you? Where were you?
Just a little late
You found me, you found me
[Bridge]
Early morning
The city breaks
I’ve been callin’
For years and years and years and years
And you never left me no messages
You never send me no letters
You got some kind of nerve
Taking all I want
[Chorus 3 and outro]
Lost and insecure
You found me, you found me
Lyin’ on the floor
Where were you? Where were you?
Lost and insecure
You found me, you found me
Lyin’ on the floor
Surrounded, surrounded
Why’d you have to wait?
Where were you? Where were you?
Just a little late
You found me, you found me
Why’d you have to wait?
To find me, to find me
