Being a fan fiction writer is fun since you are the author of a story

With all due respect with fans of your favorite television shows, movies and cartoons, I found happiness is writing fan fictions of the Justice League Of America, Teen Titans, Miraculous Ladybug, Wordgirl among other super hero shows since some of the super hero shows from yesteryear and today are different as night and day.

One of my favorite super hero groups is the Justice League Of America cartoon series since the heroes of that group who were Superman, Green Lantern, Hawkman, The Atom and The Flash were kind of a family group that watched each others backs.

Of course these days a lot of the super hero groups like the Avengers and Justice League are living by the motto “Divided We Stand” which draws the younger audiences to the theaters or television sets to witness their adventures.

One thing I will say about writing fan fictions is that I am in control of the use of the characters since I am a firm believer of the saying “Good triumphs over evil.”

I am a firm believer of avoiding the use of vulgar language and extremely long battles in my recent fan fictions like Wordgirl, Superman, Miraculous Ladybug and my original characters identical twins Donna and Debi Isthmus and their close family friend Isthmus “Panama” Squirrel or they as known as The Ladies Of Portobelo since they are aliens from Lexicon that went to Portobelo Panama to enter a super hero camp to learn how to become crime fighters when they were children.

If there is one pet peeve I have with the characters of Peter Parker who is secretly Spider-Man and Marienette Dupain-Chang who is secretly Miraculous Ladybug is that they live in a stress filled world by not revealing who they are to their relatives that they super heroes since they fear having their enemies go after their relatives if the villains knew their secret identities.

Another pet peeve from the writers of the Spider Man and Miraculous Ladybug franchises is that both Peter and Marienette have to turn the other cheek when Flash Thompson who is Peter’s arch rival and Chloe Bourgeois who is the daughter of Andre Borgeois who is the Mayor Of Paris France is when the spoiled rich kids have a field day pushing the super heroes when they are in their down time since they have never heard of the saying “Nice guys finish last” which is a quote from the late Leo Durocher who was a former Major League Baseball player and manager.

In my fan fictions both Flash and Chloe would know the saying of the World Wrestling Federation wrestlers song called “If You Only Knew” which the lyrics say “If you only knew what I would do to you, you would be running as fast as your feet can carry you, Your destiny, belongs to me.” My versions of Peter and Marinette would gain the respect of their peers as people you do not want to mess with.

But then again the joke I bring on myself is “Only a die hard or masochist will read my fan fictions.” since my written material is not cool for young kids today since some have told me “I am living in the 21st Century and not in the 20th Century”.

However some writers have told me if I like my work, then be happy with it. I am trying to be a light in a dark world during these tough times.

  1. This is a wonderful post! It’s a pity that some people have a bad opinion about fan fiction, but I believe that there are creative authors who manage to write interesting and meaningful stories.

    • I know of some writers who have written some very clever post about their favorite superheroes since they like to bend the rules of super heroes revealing their secret identities to their loved ones and close friends.
