Every year during the week of the 4th of July my town goes all out in celebration mode. June 30th usually is when the celebrating begins. The morning of June 30th things kick off with a Christmas in July breakfast at 6 A.M.
At 11 each day through the 4th of July the food booths open. I tried to count how many booths there are and I know there is at least 10. We like to go to the booth sponsored by the FFA.
In the evenings there are concerts going on. This year we only went to one of the 4 concerts. That’s because we really only were interested in one, and secondly we got in an accident with our car so don’t have a way to get to the other shows.
Also, at dark on the 30th of June there is a fireworks show. I will have another post with those videos.
I wanted to share a few videos I got of the concert we went to. The band is called the Salamanders. They are from Utah. They sing a lot of modern music. I got short videos of them singing “Cake by the Ocean”, and “Uptown Funk”.
I wish I could have got the full songs, but I did not have room on my SD card. Next year I will have to buy a new card so I have more space.
What do you think of the videos? Have you ever seen this band live? They have been to our 4th of July celebration the past few years.

Seems like a fun time for sure. 10 food booths, I bet i could hit them all during one weekend. lol
We only went to the one but they have 2 different hamburger booths, a mexican food booth, pizza, scones, steak on a stick, snow cones, etc. Its awesome!
