As I was budgeting, I saw this “quarter” coin in my purse. I did not see one before I came here. I just find it cute because it’s colorful. I have never seen coin like this in my entire life until I found a 25-cent piece. I am flabbergasted. I suppose this is the new coin as it shows 2017.
The front is still the same as old quarter.
And here are photos of the old one.
You could easily spot the difference between the old and new.

The addition of colour is so cute! It certainly sounds like a first to me, at least in modern times. (My spell checker tells me to Americanize the word colour but I refuse, So there!
