The workout: Amp Human Love Your Trail Challenge

While going for a certain mileage for PowerDot Grand Tour, and Trek Century Challenge, I ended up completing Amp Human Love Your Trail Challenge which required me to complete a total of 240 minutes (4 hours) of activity. I love these challenges that are based off of minutes versus going a certain distance.

        • I’m hesitant when I encounter that because I always have this feeling that they will run me over once I am in front of their vehicle. If they offer it, I will usually turnaround and walk the other way until they go.

          • i can understand that, when I was running i was nearly hit by 3 or 4 cars. I started earning a headlamp when I ran at dusk. even then I still almost got it.

it is frustrating, Maryland drivers are crazy and in a hurry

My guess is that they try to avoid the uneven broken surface, but you can encounter that even on roads. Some people, mostly the non fitness enthusiasts don’t understand what it feels like sharing a road with drivers that most of the time are distracted by their phones or either in a rush to get to their destination with no care for the vulnerable pedestrians.
