Continuing with the Alphabet Photo Challenge, we are now showcasing the letter “P” which is for Peach. Why peach? I’m currently in love with the blooms on this Siloam Little Girl Day Lily. I snapped this photo right after a light rain to capture the raindrops still on the bloom.
This is the first time this lily has bloomed and I wasn’t disappointed. I purchased this lily last year at Lowes on the clearance rack for only a buck! I’d say I got a very good deal! It is simply gorgeous!
I also wanted to mention the fruit peaches because that is also a favorite of mine. I love to eat them with a little bit of salt sprinkled on top, but can’t indulge in that often since I have high blood pressure.

I can see why you would love the peach because since it is the first time you said it bloomed. Enjoy it. Peach is a very pretty color and I feel stands out like it does in your picture.
I have some new lilies on order and can’t wait to see them bloom, even if I have to wait a year!

Lilies do take over a year from sowing the bulb to show up Pretty colour Yes Peach is right for the alphabet P I do not know when it was the last I ate them. We do not get them here.
I am adding more colors so the lily bed should be gorgeous in another two years.
i love the flavor and texture of a ripe peach. they are one of my favorites as welL!!
We had a man that brought in a truckload of Georgia Peaches every year when I worked at LSU. He always sold out quickly!
we have a person that does the same thing, they come with pecans and peaches in September. I love it!
Okay, now I’m jealous since I am retired now!
it is funny, but the company I work for always lets retirees have first shot when the truck arrives!
