I am now on the letter “K” and what a cutie I found to represent this letter! A koala bear!
This animal was recently caught in the wildfires in Australia and many were killed and/or did not survive. It would not surprise me if they were put on the extinct list after the fires in Australia, the country where they are native.
Koala bears are marsupials which means they have a pouch like the kangaroo where babies are carried around by their mamma. Their main diet consists of eucalyptus leaves which also provides water for them. The average life span for a koala bear is 20 years for living in their own environment.
Koala bears have always been known to be cute and cuddly. Do you agree?
I wonder about the feel of their paws. If that is the right name for it.
I would think they are nice and softly padded. They have pretty sharp nails so I would assume that would help them in climbing.
I agree! They have cuteness overload!
I just love koalas they are so cute looking. I have always wanted to hold one.
That would be fun indeed! Just a sweet little furry guy smiling!!
Oh, I love koalas! I have only seen them in photos, but I’d love to see them in person one day.
Same here, only seen them in pictures. I’d love to meet one and get up close and even hold one!
They are so cute, and they also look intelligent.
I wonder if or how intelligent they are. Good observation!
They are cuties. The good news is that there are still plenty of them.
There were so many lost in the fires. I hope and pray another one doesn’t hit soon or they will be on the endangered list in the near future.
they are endangered but not gone. The fires hurt the population but many humans stepped in to helP!
Yes, so sad that the wildlife there suffered so badly. I hope and pray there are not more fires at least any time soon.
i agree. But forest fires are a natural thing, there is a rebirth after a fire!
Feel sad to read about what happened to millions of Kolas during those wildfires.
I agree. Not only the koalas, but all the wildlife there.
