Sharing a song from a friend of mine for Song Saturday! Antonio Pontarelli

His hometown is Temecula California, and just up the road from me. He is a child prodigy, you can find videos of him performing when he was a kid on Youtube, hes even played at Carnegie Hall.

Here the song I wanted to share with you today.

Here is what Antonio has to say about himself on his website:

I sing, play violin & keys, and sometimes mess around on the mandolin. Writing songs is my way of staying happy and making sense of this crazy world.

I was a classical musician until my dad turned me onto Bill Withers and Earth Wind & Fire. I’ve done weird – but fun – stuff along the way like auto-tuning dog barks to Katy Perry songs and performing at Carnegie Hall, but here I am now playing pop / funk music with some of the kindest and most talented musicians I know.

Here is his website. Go take a look, there are a few good pieces on there as well.

Below, I have paired the lyrics with a water movement experiment I did a while back while sitting by the creek.
