I went to visit our local Cotton the barred owl again. I have written about her a couple of times awhile back. She is residing at the local state park and being taken care of by the rangers. She was found abandoned in the snow. The ranger said she looked like a cotton ball. That is how she got her name. It is so cool to be able to go and visit her anytime.

I am continuing with the 365 Photos Challenge and I am now on Day 133.
I snapped this photo of her. As soon as the camera clicked she turned her head. Oh well, maybe she is being camera shy today. She was so close but I could not touch her. Her stripes and dots, such a beautiful owl. She has a great home with real trees for perches. There were lots of Easter activities going on at the park but there she sat perched on her branch in her home. It is always good to see her. She looks through you with her huge dark eyes. I am honored to share Cotton with you again. She is like therapy for my soul.
I think that is a great looking owl!
Thank you, I have to agree with you!
One of the creatures that make my heart soaring every time you show it, Carol.
Thanks Albert, I feel the same way.
You are most welcome, Carol.

I love the quote, and I agree with it!
It is so very true, there is a lot to be said about animals and therapy.
