I bought this car used, almost new when I graduated from UCLA because I had gotten a job that was too far to write my Honda Passport 70 cc motorbike. My sister helped me to buy it, she was very good with negotiations I had the car for about 10 years until I came to Israel, I couldn’t import the car to Israel at that time, there wasn’t a place that I would have used if it needed repair. Actually I never needed to repair the car it was very dependable. I miss driving it.
I like the car. Older cars were great to drive, the new cars are boring
I liked this car because it had cruse control so I never got a speeding ticket!
Toyota makes good cars, which is why so many people buy them.
Wow! The Toyota Celica was once my dream car when I was in middle school. I put so many posters on the wall of my bedroom!
Wow, I am so glad! I really liked the car and I was sorry that I had to leave it behind when I moved to Israel. Maybe I will try to buy a Toyota again, but I don’t think that it will be the same, all the newer cars are so electronic.
In Jakarta, there are only a few of that series because Toyota authorized dealers in my country do not import or assemble them here. Yes, a new car is completely electronic and computerized, and for that the cost of maintenance or repair becomes expensive.
I really liked that car. The paint job on the hood started to peel off after being inthe California sun for 5 years.
Those are very relatable cars. Good memories I am sure.
