Sharing agin with Kim’s August challenge: Flora and Fauna. I was out in my garden yesterday evening watching the bees and butterflies on my butterfly bush. I counted three swallowtails, five bees and four of these silver spotted skippers. Amazing how they all flutter so close to me. Another special moment in Dustin’s garden. I managed to capture a few of the skipper. I did not realize at the time I also captured my shadow. Do you see me?
I kept clicking the camera because you never know what you will get with these butterflies. Sometimes nothing at all since they move so quickly. This silver spotted skipper and I shared a special moment as he was looking right at the camera, upside down.
It was another happy and peaceful evening in the garden yesterday. It has just rained. I will go out a little later and see what treasures I can find. Have a great day everyone. Please don’t forget to pause and enjoy the little things in life. And share a smile with the people you meet even if you don’t know them. It could be the only one they get.
