Little things that make me happy.
Sharing some of my tulip blooms and buds from my spring garden last year. Nature is a huge therapeutic part of my life. The sunsets, the birds, butterflies, flowers. They all take me to another level. Nature has so much to offer all of us. We should take advantage of it every chance we get. Life is too short not to be happy. There are so many little things in life. Look around, pause, reflect, you might surprise yourself at what you have been missing. Life is all about the little things.
Here are a few quotes about happiness and the little things that help me get through life.
I believe in process. I believe in four seasons. I believe that winter’s tough, but spring’s coming. I believe that there’s a growing season. And I think that you realize that in life, you grow. You get better. ~Steve Southerland
You’ve got to take the good with the bad, smile with the sad, love what you’ve got, and remember what you had. Always forgive, but never forget. Learn from mistakes, but never regret. ~Unknown
Plant seeds of happiness, hope, success, and love; it will all come back to you in abundance. This is the law of nature. ~Steve Maraboli
Happiness is like a butterfly which, when pursued, is always beyond our grasp, but, if you will sit down quietly, may alight upon you. ~Nathaniel Hawthorne
May you always be a source of inspiration for many people!
You are too kind Albert. That is a nice thought.
I’m just saying what needs to be said, Carol.
Spending time in nature can be very therapeutic indeed. It helps me realize how small some of my problems are, and shows me that life is beautiful and it goes on. Gorgeous photo and wonderful quotes! I’m looking forward to seeing the first tulips for this year.
You are absolutely correct Ellie. I would be lost without my time in nature. Mostly from my deck, but it is still nature. Thank you!
Wonderful quotes, all of them, Carol. And a great shot of your tulips 🙂
Thanks Norman, my flowers are part of those little things that get me through. 🙂
Lovely quote Carol, nice thoughts.
Thank you Pamela, appreciate your visit.
If there were more people in the world who desire their own happiness than they wish for the misery of others, we would achieve paradise for a few years!
Bertrand Russell 1872-1970
That’s the truth
