Bloemfontein is home to the National Afrikaans Literature Museum. It was established in 1973 where you can browse through various Afrikaans literature and arts. I really, really, really want to make time to visit this museum soon.
The collection includes books, media clippings, posters, manuscripts, magazines, visual art works, audio-visual pieces and much more. The institute preserves and documents literary pieces capturing linguistic blending of East and West Africa over the last 100 years.
You don’t have to be nominated to join in the fun of the #365_Photos_Challenge, just pick up your camera and start posting. Just be sure to read the Rules and Guidelines.

Thank you very much 😉
Would love to visit this museum.
I will update some more once I have been there.
The only regret I sometimes have when visiting museums is that I had been to several where cam is not allowed inside
That’s true, I really hope it’s not the case with this one.
I love museums dedicated to the written word, but I may be biased a bit.
With literature as a passion I think you are allowed to be Doc 🙂
Good shot for a good place, Della
Thank you Albert. I love beautiful old buildings.
You are always welcome, Della
