1. i stayed away, tried Mylot and hated it. ended up on twitter and then facebook.

   • Facebook was the first one I joined, although I had joined a chat room on yahoo. Were chat rooms considered social media? I wonder..

   • Ha, no doubt. That was my biggest worry. I had to do a lot of research to find out that that wasnt likely unless you put the info out there. I didnt even think about hackers.

6. My first thought was that these sites “stupid”. 😊 I haven’t used these sites for a long time.

   • I went through that thought too, in fact I waited about 6 months after I found out about it, just because I wasnt sure about a lot of things, but basically how it all worked.

   • Ah yes, so you were excited about the possibilities. I was too. I went over to a friends house and she was in a chat room. I had a million questions, and watched her for a while. It took me another 6 months to finally try facebook.

     • It did take me a while to join Facebook. I felt why join it? I was used to chatting on dating sites and Yahoo messenger (I miss it), and MySpace.
