The phrase September’s Pleasures.. What is pleasurable in September to you?
I love September, it’s my birthday month! I was born September 17th, 1962!
I also love September where I live in San Diego, California for a few reasons. The air holds that crisp dry breeze, the days become shorter, the sun becomes lower on the horizon. That afternoon glow just seems to last forever! The kids are back in school, the tourists leave, the marine layer lifts, and we get super sunsets!
Here are a few of those times…
The best time for going to the beach is in September.

Sounds like fun, not sure what I can post because things don’t seem to exciting in September where I live lol. Great photos by the way!
The days get shorter, the browns come out. Trees change, that golden hour that is good for photography is very long, way more than an hour. Great foods, Eli at school. Ask what he likes about this time a year. Write it from a 4 yr old’s perspective.. That tree at your grandmas place has a different angle of light on it.. The annual flowers will start to wither and die. great photo opps! Good luck!
Nothing like a dried sunflower, the seeds fall. Oh yeah, make sure you save some for next year. Try thinking about macros, or close ups of small things. Let’s get you inspired!
I just didn’t know if the flowers dying, and drying up and all that would be great to photo, but thank you for the ideas! I’ll keep an eye out. And yes, should definitely get some of Eli at school!
I should make a mini post of things like this. The dried flower..the fallen leaf.. the bug on the sidewalk..etc.. Yes, Eli is always a hit!!
Replying to your comment up here….but yes that would be a great idea to do to give out ideas/inspiration 🙂 And those are more great ideas! I will keep an eye out for things to share. Maybe I could figure out an art piece to make too.

I love all the seasons because they provide valuable lessons and special benefits.
