I decided to post a few more than just one in my story for the first day.
I start off with my darling Meika. She is a high content wolf hybrid, and is a rescue.
I was lucky enough to have been working in a grooming shop 6 years ago when in walked a man with this white ball of fur. She was 4 months old and had been turned loose on a nearby Indian Reservation, and was brought into the shop for a much needed bath. She was darn near feral. He had no idea how to rehabilitate her and was looking for a home for her.
All it took was one look and she was mine.
I wont say owning a wolf hybrid is for everyone, they do have special needs. You have to keep them with you at all times. If you don’t this is felt as shunning her from the pack. I cannot always take her with me. This can cause problems. She will dig house sized holes in the backyard in only minutes. She can climb, jump, and swim better than any regular dog. She has to be taken out daily for a hard run for a few hours. You don’t want to skip a day. You will pay. lol
This being said, she has turned out to be one of my best friends, and is so photogenic, if you can catch her in a frame that is. She is also extremely camera shy.
Here is one day at the creek. If she could talk she would say I love swimming, hiking and hunting rabbits!

Yes, I’ll have to see if I can get one to share of my mom’s dog! I wish we had our own dog, but I see Fifi every day so that’s fine!
