Hi. You asked me to have a look at your drawings and offer advice. Well, for starters you have a very vibrant and happy style, so that’s good. The best advice I can give to anyone who wants to draw is to slow down and take your time and then slow down some more. Then after you’ve slowed down the process then slow down even more. I’m 50 and I only picked up a pencil at 45. I didn’t start drawing properly until I was 48. I will post some comparisons of my drawings from two years ago to those I’ve recently done, so you can see how just slowing down and taking my time improved my work. My biggest tip is to enjoy it and don’t be too hard on yourself. There is no right or wrong way to draw; we all have our own unique styles. Good luck with it and draw with a smile on your face; although I get the feeling that you already do :o)
