I am continuing with the 365 Photos Challenge and I am now on Day 30. Anyone can join in, you do not have to be nominated. Here are the rules from Artbytes on his 365 Photos Challenge.
Memories of my son, Dustin are with me every day. I purchased this statue of a boy cuddling with his dog. It is suppose to be a garden statue but I keep it protected in the screen room from the sun. I can also enjoy it year round there. It always brings a sense of peace and solitude. Dustin had a dog, her name was Cassie. She ran away shortly after losing Dustin and never returned. She was 14. I lost both babies at once. I will always believe she went looking for him.
I try every day to turn my pain into good memories and smile every chance I get at the 16 years I had with my son. I know he wants his Mom happy, and realizing that is what keeps me pushing forward. A cherished thought…Those we love and lose are not where they used to be. They are now wherever we are.
The statue is great. Keep it.
Thanks Elenka, it is a keeper for sure.
Out of all the reasons you have said, the statue is great! I like it very much, Carol! Will be more if you associate something with it.
Thank you dear Albert. This is another of my favorite things to sit and look at during the day.
Anytime, Carol. Anytime…
A favorite statue in my screen room I see every day.
