365 Photo Challenge – Day 19

So says Robert William Service, a British-Canadian poet and writer referred to as “The Bard of the Yukon”.

Truly, many times, we stressed ourselves over small things by failing to master our emotions and reactions toward circumstances and people. In retrospect – or after the fact – we often realized our annoyance was for nothing and therefore, useless and pointless. Still, in the middle of the situation, we become quite shortsighted that we tend to shoot by reflex. Tsk. Even I am guilty of that very flaw.

For my Day-19, I featured here – for lack of inspiration, why else – my sister’s, Cory, collection of sand taken in various beaches we had been to. Much were from Thailand where we spent days hopping from one beach to another — sometimes, chasing sunsets…sometimes, just for the heck of it. She has some from Tasmania as well and from local beaches in the Philippines. We never took a lot – she is happy enough with a spoonful of sand…and we can pretend we got it from bathing and rolling in the sand, right? Lol!

This project is still unfinished as you can see. And the glass top of the center table she made for this purpose was damaged by the cats, unfortunately. Oh well. We cannot sue the cats, can we? We cannot complain to the police either for such misbehavior. What to do? Breathe and let go.

Again and again, you are welcome to participate in the challenge if you have time. Know the how-to here https://virily.com/art/365-photo-contest-day-1/.

Love and light everyone. Be enLightened. Too much seriousness is bad for your health and it can make you look older pretty quick and easy. So, smile widely everyday. And if you don’t have a reason to smile, then, why darling, find one. You are old enough to do that. Please do not ask me where and how. Lol!
