When I am walking along the beach, I like to tread, barefoot, on the parts that are kissed by the waves mainly because it erase my footprints as soon as I set them. The feel of the water lapping on my partly buried feet — the coarse sand on my sole and in-between my toes — the unsteady gait — the smell of salty air and the gentle breeze — all that I love. Most of the times we need to look down just in case we find simple treasure of shells, the small crabs hurrying to their holes, stones with unique shapes and what-not.
Life is best lived like holding sand – be involved, be in love but do so in complete freedom. Keep people in our hearts yet do not possess them or shackle them — as it might strangle them to suffocation and lead the love to die away.
This is my Day-24 feature photo but hey, it would be more awesome if you can come and join us, read the do’s and don’t’s here https://virily.com/art/365-photo-contest-day-1/.
