Have you heard of Beatrix Potter well know author of children’s stories like ‘The Tale of Peter Rabbit?
This morning I watched the movie ‘Miss Potter,’ starring Renee Zellweger and Ewan McGregor. This movie I just had to purchase after I had taken an online class from ‘The Institute of Children’s Literature. The school sent me everything I would need for the class. I also took a class in child development. Not sure which place sent me the book ‘The Tale of Peter Rabbit’
Below is the movie I watched with utter delight. As writers, everyone here should enjoy this movie. Besides the movie is a book called’ The Tale of Holly How, where you will find a connection to Beatrix Potter. The movie Miss Potter talks about her sheltered life, and how she became famous. Her courage is evident in the movie and makes one believe in oneself. The movie should make women everywhere never underestimate their talents.
The book’s Tale of Holly How’ is delightful as well. If the life of Beatrix Potter seems fascinating the book will add to your excitement. I believe if you read the book you will also want to watch the movie. The book is one of The Cottage Tales of Beatrix Potter. The book is a blend of fact and fiction Judy Taylor is the author of Beatrix Potter, Artist, Storyteller, and Countrywoman.
