I was wanting to do something special for my son and daughter in law’s dogs. I was looking online one day and saw these paw print paintings. Aha, I thought! We can do this. Now how to get the dogs from them…. I was starting to panic since right now I have no transportation until the day after Christmas, this won’t do..
Then out of the blue my daughter in law asks if I can come over and dog sit for awhile yesterday! I gladly accepted, and this is what we did.. the purple painting below. I put it on their fireplace mantel and left before they returned home. I wasn’t even sure they would notice since they weren’t due back until late. But they did and posted this photo the next morning. It is the dogs painting next to the one I painted of the dogs for last Christmas. 🙂 She wrote, “Thanks for the paw print flowers lily and keizer! I hope Kim didn’t torture you dogs too much! They did have paint all over their faces though… ????#dogsarethebestgift #pawprints #flowers #merrychristmas” lol
I guess she enjoyed it. This sure did make me smile!
I was going to take pictures of the process, made sure the batteries were fresh, and forgot the disk…
She also got this shot of Lily! Priceless.. She got the shot I wanted!
That was awesome and a brilliant gift idea!
Thank you Paul! I found similar ones online and went for it! It is so much fun as well.

Thank you Trenna, you should of seen the dogs faces when I dipped their paws into the paint. lol
How special is this gift! I love homemade gifts, they have such meaning. And the purple paint on Lily’s nose is priceless! Great job Kim.
