1st Indian Woman Doctor: Anandbai Joshi

Anandbai Joshi, is the 1st Indian Woman Doctor who did complete her MD ALSO FOR THE 1ST TIME BEING AN Indian Woman in pre Independent India in much difficulties of her life. She did marry on her very minor age in a just 9 year. After marriage due to the huge support of her husband she could able to complete her Study in Medical Science.

Being an Indian it is my pleasure and privilege to celebrate the 153rd Birth Anniversary ANANDBAI JOSHI of Pune in British India who started her journey in Medical Science from her early age of 19 in United States of America. She Successfully did complete her the Master Course in Medicine(MD).

Non other than anybody but the then Queen Victoria also had had her personal message to ANANDBAI JOSHI wishing her great success in Medical Science in such little age.

The matter of her glorious return to Mother India only for the sake of servicing poor and down trodden makes her credibility in Medical Science more ethical and the Indian Republic also feels proud in this regard.

On her 153rd Birth Anniversary ,Google Doodle today sketched her glorious journey of life as on 31st March 2018.
