Noor-u-Nisa Muslim lady’s picture on British currency first time in British history

According to source The UK’s central bank ‘Bank of England’ has begun preparing for a Muslim woman’s picture first time release on currency note of British history. On the £ 50 currency note, Britain’s Queen Elizabeth II is currently present.

During the Second World War, a Muslim woman named Noor unnisa Anayat Khan had lived in France for spying for British forces. To tribute to the noble act of Noor, the Official authorities and famous historian personalities from the Bank of England proposed the proposal to print a picture of Noor -u-nisa on a £ 50 note.

Noor -u-nisa Anayat Khan was born On January 1, 1914, Russia’s capital Moscow and her parents belonged to India and her father was the grandson of Tipu Sultan who was the king of Mysore.

Noor -u-nisa joined Class II Aerial Craft Officer in Women’s Side Air Force WAAF in November 1940, and became the UK first woman working against Germany, is “Wireless Operator”

Noor was arrested in paris on October 13, 1943, in spying for Britain army, and despite the tortured for 10 months in a military camp she did not disclose any, she finally she shoot dead from french military and at that time she was just 29 year old.

Noor- u – Nisa is famouse by Noor Baker in UK, she was awarded Britain’s highest citizen medal ‘George Cross’ in 1949. Noor is the first Muslim and Asian women whose statue made from copper is set in London’s Gordon Square Garden.

Be clear France has also awarded her by the highest citizen medal ‘Crocs de gairi award’.
