The workout

Oh boy! Talk about an abdominal burning workout. A few of the workouts in this session involved me lying on my back and either lifting my legs, upper body or both into the crunch position. I certainly felt the burn! Prior to doing this work out, I noticed differences in my waist area while looking in the mirror. My waist is a lot more shaped in comparison to before I started these yoga for weight loss workouts.

I started late today in order to get some rest after working overnight shift. The eagerness to see what is in store motivated me to do the workout despite the amount of sleep I have gotten due to the shift. I can honestly say that I found a new alternative workout while the gym remains closed due to coronavirus quarantine.

  • The steadiness
  • Leg punches
  • Lean forward
  • The heels
  • Hip twists
  • Legs lifting
  • The clock
  • Static bridge
  • Baby position


  • 75 Jumping jacks
  • 15 Reps – The checkmark
  • 40 Push ups
  • 20 Reverse crunches

I enjoyed yoga stances: the mountain, the steadiness, and static bridge. They were my mental preparations prior to my abdominal burning exercises, hehe. Not that I died during any of them, but they allowed me to transfer my focus on something else.
