While on vacation, we went to the Three Lakes Auto Show. Older cars had much more personality than today’s vehicles. Most of today’s cars have become disposable like so many other modern items. What passes as innovation today? Adding a DVD player to vehicle? There are very few present day vehicles that I’d want to collect.
Although I didn’t take any pictures of them, there were a few Tesla made vehicles at the auto-show. Despite being truly innovative, Tesla faces regulatory barriers within the industry in the form of dealer franchise laws. However, change is hard to come by in politics. Hopefully, Tesla will survive the political turmoil so that the brand will still be around in 50 years.
