1. Just another example of people not thinking 🙂

   • That’s certainly an element, Scott. However, in truth, there are few opportunities for parking, especially for a lorry, in this little town, and the driver may have parked for just a short time. Nevertheless, I was struck by the irony 🙂

2. I think that says a lot about the arrogance of those who deny climate change and push fossils. Sad and funny at the same time.

   • Living in the USA since November of 2016 seeing humour in sad situations is what keeps me sane.

3. A phenomenon of arrogance “feeling big”. Maybe the driver is small but because of driving a large vehicle he feels powerful. Like a similar phenomenon; fellow humans who become arrogant because they feel powerful, have a high social status, etc.

   • Well, there is a law, Carol! Enforcement, however, is very slack in a small country town like this one though 🙂
