This is a macro shot of the curve in the leaf of a Giant Strelitzia I found while wondering about in the garden taking photos. The photo was taken late afternoon, mid Winter. The Giant Strelitzia is indigenous to South Africa. The Giant Strelitzia nicolai is also known as the giant white bird of paradise or wild banana.
