Salt Lake City, Utah Mormon Temple Acrylic Painting

This was a commissioned painting I did earlier this summer. It depicts the LDS (or Mormon) temple in Salt Lake City, Utah in the fall.

It is done on a 3 foot by 2 foot stretched canvas and finished with a satin varnish.

I love the autumn colors in this painting and how they seem to just pop off the canvas. I textured the leaves in the foreground so that they would physically come off the of the canvas a little bit.

If you would like this painting done for you, or of another temple or building, just get in contact with me and we can work out the details!

  1. Wow! There’s a building in the Maryland/DC area that looks just like that. We can see it when we’re driving on the highway. Guess the Mormons can get that architect to build one in any city they choose. You did a nice job with that painting.
