The Red Bush Collage
After doing several portrait collages, I wondered if a landscape would look as good in collage. I started with this snowy scene I call The Red Bush. I came out rather “flat” meaning that the foreground and the background seem on the same plane to me. I should have put in bluer pieces in the background and whiter in the foreground. But it was a good experience and it was fun. After all, isn’t that what art is all about?

Thank. I had really hoped to win an award in the art show I entered this one in, but it wasn’t as well liked as I had hoped.
