some of you might remember this piece from way back. it was giving me a hard time in a few areas but it seems like I was finally able to convince it to behave. just in time for Halloween, too…

I've learned to make my raw render lighter than I want the final to be, since most of the postwork will darken the piece considerably

see what I mean about the piece getting too dark?

pretty sharp, but is that a good thing here?

Very interesting. Great picture of a Japanese scholar. The Darkness version is the worst in my opinion, the first three are better.
