I love drawing cartoons and using my imagination. So, by coincidence, I used a purple theme in all of these artworks. I created these dolls when I was younger. I have other ones stored where I use different colors, different places, and different themes. I used nothing but pastel to make these art pieces. I don’t think it is so bad for someone that just used her imagination and created her own characters, right?
I would like to know which ones you guys think are the best ones. Most people tell me that they love the DJ Master the best. That’s an interesting pick of many. Let’s see what the audience has to say!
The Dark Room
Funnily enough, this piece was inspired by the way Gaz's room liked from the Nickelodeon show Invader Zim. I was working on the type of scenery I could create without copying anything down, and this is what resulted from that inspiration. I wanted to create a dark room, even though I had used the same color theme in other art pieces but forgot about them.
Sea of Dolls
I was thinking about how abstract art or close-up art might look like. I still don't know too many details about the "types of art," but I loved experimenting with my own style and see what works for me and what doesn't. Thus, these cute little dark dollies were born as my first artwork. After making a lot of the art pieces is when I noticed other artists and cartoonist have used doll-like styles to create characters and got inspired to continue to create more original doll art.
DJ Master
When I was making this piece, all I thought was, "Everyone loves DJs." And that's how this cute little baby was born. I wanted to make it cute with cutesie cartoons and a dark party scene, because people love partying at night. By coincidence, I used purple because that was the first thing that came to mind. I think there is a lot of purple in inside-building parties, though.
