In addition to making very dark images, I also enjoy adding light blooms to my work. Sometimes I can even manage to do both in the same piece, but not this time…
This work depicts the last golden rays of light fading before the longest night of the year.

Light blooms do wonders for negative space
This is wonderful, definitely one of my favorites! Or should I say both are amongst my favorites as there are two versions?
As far as I am concerned, the new version clobbered the previous one. But if you really still like the old one, that doesn’t bother me (it does confuse me, but that’s okay)
