I have drawn and painted since childhood. My work the last 20 years of my career leaned heavily on my artistic side; graphics and lay-out. I am a writer first, but love painting, especially learning how to control watercolor — or let it control me.
Here are a few images. The “Brown Eyed Girl” portrait was chosen recently (6.16.17) as the cover for Berkeley, CA literary journal, riverbabble, as its cover image. I have a story in that issue too: “The Margin of the River” Read it if you love dogs. (Or maybe if you don’t love dogs?)
