New Horizons - WIP

I wanted to branch out of my comfort zone and try something new- a sorta manga style with a girl in a seifuku fighting a demon. Totally original idea that I’ve never tried before and so it will be a challenge for me…

I like her pose but I might have to rework the oni, which is a shame since the lighting is quite nice

You got me with the cangiante. Reading about that stuff makes my brain hurt. No, really! My late dh the art instructor was just starting to teach me about shadows 9 years ago when he moved on to the Great Art Studio in the Sky. I never felt like studying any of that on my own.
