So the pose is pretty solid but the lighting just isn't all that it could be. She really wants a rimlight to pop her out of the background but I don't want that rimlight to poison the background...
How can I resolve this issue?

Simple, I will just apply the rimlight to the girl alone. But I am not sold on the current implementation, the color is too bold and even the angle seems questionable
That having been said, the base solution is probably viable if I can address those issues...
Comes to the light. I like this.
These colors are lighter and I like more.
