PUZZLED 10″ high x 7″ wide x 6″ deep Apple
There was a beautiful apple tree that stood at the side of my son’s elementary school, Gordon Greenwood, that, year after year, produced tons of apples. I know that trees sometimes have a life cut short due to sickness or safety to others but just as a human’s life runs it’s course we all have our destiny.
I showed up one fall day to witness the municipality cutting down that apple tree and could only wonder why. I knew there had to be a good reason so I held no ill will.
This carving was carved from a piece of that tree I managed to salvage. So in a way it lives on but still leaves me puzzled.
Thank you very much!
It’s so beautiful, it’s nice to see something beautiful created from an event that came from sadness. You are exceptionally talented! Thank you

You are such a fantastic artist. I feel depressed when I see trees cut down
for no apparent reason. Glad you salvaged such a beautiful part of this one.
