Either since when they existed
but they are always there
enters the retina or not
instantaneous light appeared
so too the shadow is present
can be anywhere
on anything
next to or below
or disappear into the light
or swallowed by darkness
but both are lovers
Lover and loving eternal
even if they are present or disappear
they are rooted in an invisible world
every presence is where they visit
to play and dance
the supposed stop in what’s to be
to rest from a long journey
towards the beautiful eternity
at the inexpressible plane where the pair is a singleton
in Its glory.
