Check Out My New Patreon Page – An Easy Way to Support an Artist!

Today I launched my Patreon page. For those who don’t know what Patreon is, it is a service that allows people to pledge money and support creators such as artists, musicians, and other creators who love to create but don’t have the luxury of being able to do it as a full-time career. It is a simple way to support the creative community. You can pledge money per month or by creation depending on the creator’s account. Most creators have rewards for certain levels of pledging.

As many of you know, I am an acrylic painter. I have been painting since 2014 and have sold my paintings worldwide. On my Patreon page, you will see that I have 4 different reward levels, they are as follows.

1. For just $1 a month you will receive access to my Patreon only content. This will include things such as progress photos, descriptions of how paintings are made, and more.

2. For $5 a month you will receive access to my Patreon only content, as well as access to monthly high-resolution jpg images of paintings which can be used to desktop or cell phone wallpapers.

3. For $25 a month you will receive access to my Patreon only content, access to monthly high-resolution jpg images of paintings, and one signed fine art photo print of a painting of your choice.

4. For $50 a month you will receive access to my Patreon only content, access to monthly high-resolution jpg images of paintings, and one signed fine art canvas print of a painting of your choice.

Even if you don’t support me on Patreon I appreciate and love all the support I have received here on Virily. Upvotes, comments, and shares mean the world to artists. Thanks for reading and I hope that you continue to follow my art journey!

  1. I regret not being able to help economically in Patreón, but I hope that others with greater possibilities will do so, and your artistic project will be consolidated.

  2. I hope it works out good!
I sell my artworks mainly through word of mouth. However, I have sold a few on Etsy, one on Artfinder, another on Fine Art America, and I have also been commissioned by people who have found me on Facebook. So I have found just getting your name and works in as many places as possible is the best way to go around it. You never know who is on what site and who will like your work. It’s definitely a learning and growing process.
I haven’t got much into selling prints of my work yet which I would like to start doing, I have only sold originals so far.

    • I had it on there before it was published but once it published the hyperlinks were gone…. I put the link in the comments further down and there is no simple way to just edit a post. But I’ll repost the link here.

I do find it hard to update each site as paintings are completed. I find that I will update some but not all as I almost forget about some.

  3. I remember vaguely reading about Patreon some time ago. It sounded then and still sounds as an awesome way of promoting your’s and other’s work. Good luck to you as you are very talented and you deserve some patron(s).
